Our story begins in the 1840’s with first settler William Turner and his forays into the Australian bush. A known bootlegger and with deep appreciation of the unique flora and fauna that thrive in the Australian landscape William was able to distil uniquely Australian gin. Inspired by this rich biodiversity we set out to recreate his passion for your enjoyment!Barrabool is distilled in Healesville, Victoria. In the picturesque state of Victoria. We are nestled amidst rolling hills, pristine waterways, and native bushland. The breathtaking beauty of our surroundings provides the perfect backdrop for the creation of our artisanal gins.
